PhD position in Interferometric Sensor Technology Development
Luphos GmbH offers a PhD position in the frame of the EU Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network HICONO (“High-Intensity Coherent Nonlinear Optics”). The topic of the PhD project is the improvement of a high-precision interferometric distance sensor. The Sensor is based on the all fiber based multiwavelength interferometry (MWLI) patented by Luphos GmbH, which is capable to solve different distance measurement tasks with sub-nanometer precision in a non-contact manner. The aim of the PhD project is mainly, but not exclusively, to dramatically increase the data rate by means of electro-optical-modulation
